AC confirm talks over Tevez

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed he will meet Manchester City officials on Thursday to discuss the transfer of Carlos Tevez.
Tevez seems certain to leave City in January after a severe breakdown of relations that dates back to the club's clash with Bayern Munich in the autumn when the forward failed to take to the pitch.
He has been AWOL in his native Argentina, but is a player in demand. Former club Boca Juniors have spoken of their desire to sign Tevez, while Juventus, Milan and cash-rich Paris Saint Germain have also signalled their interest.
PSG could trump any offer from rival bidders, but they have suggested they would not prevent the forward moving to Milan if he so wished.
Milan are unlikely to pay the fee City want for Tevez, but are hopeful of being able to thrash out a deal that suits all parties and will begin talks on Thursday.
"It's true I'm meeting them Thursday," Galliani told Italian news agency ANSA. "But I don't think the deal will be concluded that day.''
Milan start their winter training camp in Dubai on December 29 and Galliani admits it will be "almost impossible'' for Tevez to be a Rossoneri player on that day.
