Dawson primed for Spurs return

Harry Redknapp has declared Michael Dawson fit for action and revealed the England defender will return to the first team for Saturday's FA Cup clash with Cheltenham, after almost five months on the sidelines.
Redknapp said last week the centre-back, who has not played since picking up an Achilles tendon injury during Spurs' 5-1 defeat to Manchester City in August, was aiming to be back in time for the third-round tie at White Hart Lane and, after warming the bench in Spurs' New Year's Eve victory over Swansea, the 28-year-old is in contention to start at the weekend.
"Michael will play on Saturday," Redknapp told Spurs' website. "It will be his first game back. Hopefully he'll be fit. We were struggling for cover at Swansea. He'd only trained once but he put himself up for the bench, that's typical of him. He's a fantastic lad."
There could be further good news for Spurs fans after Redknapp announced Aaron Lennon, who suffered a hamstring strain against Sunderland last month, could be back sooner than expected.
He said: "Aaron could be fit. He's training and we'd like to get a game into him if we can."
