AVB denies Cahill deadline report

Andre Villas-Boas has stressed Chelsea are making progress on the transfer of Gary Cahill, and has insisted no deadline has been set for the Bolton defender to agree the transfer.
Chelsea agreed a fee with Bolton for the England international a fortnight ago, but doubt was cast on the move when Villas-Boas claimed club and player were "miles apart" with regard to a contract.
The parties have been talking for the past couple of weeks, but no deal has been agreed and it was reported on Thursday that Chelsea had set Cahill a deadline of this weekend to agree a deal.
Villas-Boas delivered an update at his press conference on Thursday, expressing confidence that a deal can be concluded.
"There is no real news," he said "It is still ongoing. We want it solved as soon as possible, but we are making progress and hopefully it will be sorted soon.
"No (there is no deadline). All parties are protecting their interests and hopefully we will reach an agreement, hopefully this week.
"It is part of the business; I am okay."
