Buddle arrives at Everton for trial

Everton have swelled their ranks of United States internationals by taking striker Edson Buddle on trial, according to his agent.
Buddle, 30, was a former team-mate of Landon Donovan (who is on loan at Goodison Park) while at the Los Angeles Galaxy. He joined Bundesliga.2 outfit Ingolstadt a year ago, but has made it clear that he wants to move on after scoring nine goals for the club.
Buddle's agent Richard Motzkin revealed the news on Twitter: "For those asking, my client @EdsonBuddle will be on trial this week at Everton FC."
Ingolstadt sports director Thomas Linke also said: "If he wants to leave us, we will find a solution."
Buddle has previously attracted interest from Birmingham and Sheffield Wednesday, while David Moyes is looking to bolster his strike force in January with a limited budget at his disposal.
