No QPR deal for Henrique

QPR's proposed deal to sign highly-rated Brazil Under-20 Henrique has fallen through after the striker was denied a work permit.
Sao Paulo starlet Henrique looked set for a move to Loftus Road on loan, with a view to a permanent move, in the wake of Mark Hughes' appointment as the club's new manager.
Although QPR had reached agreement with Sao Paulo over a deal, including a €6 million right-to-buy option, it hinged on the 20-year-old being given the go-ahead to play in England.
But a work permit hearing was held on Monday when it was determined Henrique did not satisfy the required criteria.
A QPR spokesman said: "He didn't get a work permit for various reasons.''
Among those reasons were the fact the player still has limited experience in club football, and because he has not yet made his debut for the senior Brazil team.
