Fears grow for Wilshere after Wenger confirms setback

Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has suffered a setback in his return from the ankle complaint that has seen him miss the entire Premier League season so far.
Wilshere, 20, suffered the injury in pre-season and underwent surgery with his comeback scheduled for sometime in February. However, as the midfielder nears a return to the first-team, he is set to be out for longer than expected.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said at his press conference ahead of the weekend's game with Aston Villa in the FA Cup: "Wilshere had a little setback which is under investigation at the moment. As soon as we know more, we will inform you.
"I can't give you any news on Jack because I could be wrong. Wilshere has pain again in his ankle. He did it while running so we stopped it straight away. He's seeing a specialist today."
Fears are now that Wilshere could miss the rest of the season, which would put his participation in doubt for England in the summer's Euro 2012 campaign.
