Hand-off
High drama before kick-off in the Manchester United v Liverpool fixture, as Luis Suarez refused to shake the hand of Patrice Evra, causing an irate Evra to grab the Uruguayan striker by the arm. Long-time fans of the pre-match handshake now have a moment to rival Wayne Bridge opting not to press palms with John Terry nearly two years ago. We'd also like to point out that the United mascot, who must have been about five, opted to blank Pepe Reina when their hands met. For shame, young man.

Pat's a shocking challenge
A couple of minutes into the match, a riled Evra attempted to lunge into a meaty challenge on Suarez - only to find himself making fierce contact with Rio Ferdinand, his own team-mate. Ferdinand hurtled to the floor face first (he was OK to carry on), while Suarez slinked away unscathed a few metres to the side. Ferdinand did bail out Evra on the stroke of half-time, conjuring a fine saving tackle to stop Suarez racing through on David de Gea - but, despite all that, Ferdinand was at fault when Suarez did get on the scoresheet late in United's 2-1 victory.

Dancing on the ceiling
Even after the final whistle the drama continued, Evra opting to embark on some ostentatious celebrations in the vicinity of Suarez - a decision that kicked off yet another flashpoint, with several visiting players objecting to the moves employed by the United captain. In ESPN Towers we found some of his landings a little heavy, and maybe would've liked to have seen looser knees - but certainly nothing worthy of handbags.

Kammy do it?
Sky Sports' Chris Kamara, bless him, really (and we mean really) struggled to get to grips with Fulham's new recruit Pavel Pogrebnyak. He's never been the most reliable at pronunciation, but even for him this was a poor effort: he said the Russian's name a different way every time, which was an achievement in itself. Even Paul Merson would have done better… Yeah, probably not actually.

Chris cross?
Penny for Chris Samba's thoughts whilst Blackburn were beating QPR at Ewood Park; the defender slapped a transfer request in at Rovers during the window, and appeared to be agitating for a move to Loftus Road. Yet now - and not many would have predicted this a couple of months ago - it's Blackburn who appear to be on the up after Saturday's victory over the Rs. Oh, it's a funny old game, etc etc.

Heartwarming Henry
One for the romantics, and another chapter in the rich history of Thierry Henry's Arsenal career. He scored the winner against Leeds in his first game back - and then, against Sunderland on Saturday, he grabbed the winner in what will probably be his final competitive game in England. Even more amazingly, the much maligned Andrei Arshavin produced a moment of magic to create the strike.
