Mertesacker facing long spell out

Arsene Wenger has ruled defender Per Mertesacker out of action for at least a month, with the Arsenal boss admitting a scan on the German's ankle did not look good.
Mertesacker was carried off against Sunderland with an ankle injury and the club are carrying out tests to ascertain the severity of the problem.
The injury is on the same ankle that the Germany international underwent reconstructive surgery last year and it is a cause of concern for Wenger.
Wenger said: "He had a reconstruction of his ankle in Germany before he joined us and the scan didn't look too positive yesterday [Monday].
"He went back to Germany to consult the specialist to see where we go from there and he is supposed to contact me this afternoon to tell me exactly what the specialist told him.
"Certainly in the next month he will not be with us."
