Mark van Bommel believes Netherlands team-mate Robin van Persie would be a huge success at AC Milan.

Arsenal captain Van Persie is out of contract in 2013 and, with the Gunners enduring another difficult season, there are doubts as to how long he will remain at the club.

Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all reported to be interested in Van Persie, and Van Bommel feels a move to the San Siro would work out well.

"Van Persie is a great player," he told Il Giorno. "He has a lot on quality on the pitch. He'd be a huge success here."

Meanwhile, Robinho has revealed he wants to spend the next decade with the Rossoneri.

The 28-year-old, who joined from Manchester City in 2010, is currently under contract until 2014 but he told La Stampa: "I'm really happy at Milan. If it was up to me then I would remain here for another ten years."
