Big names want to join Liverpool, claims Comolli

Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli believes the Reds' Carling Cup triumph gives them enough clout to persuade the best players to join the club this summer.
Kenny Dalglish's side claimed a dramatic victory over Cardiff at Wembley, triumphing in a penalty shootout to claim their first silverware in six years and secure a place in next season's Europa League.
And Comolli claims Liverpool have already seen interest from a number of top players around Europe who have been impressed by the Reds' revival under Dalglish.
"We already know that there are big players who want to join us next summer because they believe in the project," Comolli told Sky Sports. "Everybody in Europe knows what Liverpool football club are trying to do.
"Obviously the fact that we're back playing in Europe and we've won the trophy, it's all positive things. There's a very positive vibe around the club around Europe.
"A lot of players I know are very interested about joining the project because it's a very interesting project."
