Paul Pogba appears to be heading for the exit door at Manchester United, with his agent describing the situation as "precarious".

The club are keen to tie the exciting teenager to a new contract, but all offers have been rebuffed.

Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson said on Friday that there had been no headway and the midfielder's agent has admitted the situation is "difficult".

It has been claimed Pogba has been told to train alone, something neither club nor agent would comment on, but the 18-year-old's representative stated his client has a decision to make.

"It is a precarious situation," agent Mino Raiola said. "It is difficult. United want him. It is up to the boy to make some decisions.

"We know there are some clubs interested in him. We must finish first with Manchester and after that see we will see other options, if they are there.
