Spurs game 'massive' for United, says Ferguson

Sir Alex Ferguson believes Manchester United's showdown with Tottenham Hotspur this weekend could be make-or-break in his side's bid to defend their Premier League title.
United currently trail Manchester City by two points with 12 games to go. The top two are still to play each other once more this season.
But while Ferguson would rather head to the Etihad Stadium on April 30 level on points with their derby rivals, he would be content with the status quo and a shot at the summit in two months' time.
United must match City over the coming weeks to stay within touching distance of the Premier League leaders, starting with Harry Redknapp's side on Sunday.
"It's going to be a massive game," Ferguson told Inside United magazine. "If we can survive that one, then we'll have a big, big chance of winning the league.
"Yes, I would take it [being two points behind City going into the Manchester derby]. I would rather go there on level points. But if we could go there within striking distance of being top of the league, I'd take it."
