Wenger expects to see Oxlade at Euro 2012

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is sure that winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will force his way into England's Euro 2012 squad if he maintains his current level of form.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 18, shone on his full Premier League debut against Manchester United during January and has not looked back since, establishing himself as a key member of the Arsenal squad. His sudden emergence hastened the departure of Andrei Arshavin, who went on loan to Zenit St Petersburg earlier this month.
But despite showing some fine form, the former Southampton starlet was surprisingly overlooked for Stuart Pearce's England squad to face Netherlands in a friendly on Wednesday. Nonetheless, Wenger feels Oxlade-Chamberlain has what it takes to feature in the summer tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
"He is a little bit like a boxer in his upper body. He has not played too many games up until now because he was on a learning curve but he has super quality and is not fazed by the [biggest] occasions," Wenger said.
"To put him in the team against any opposition ... It is just natural for him to be there. For a young player, sometimes they waste a lot of time getting used to the pressure. He looks like he can take it. There are very few players like that, players who look like they have always played in the team.
"You cannot take him out of the team, you have to keep him there. [He] can win you games. Until the end of the season there is no problem and if he continues to play like this I am convinced he will go to Euro 2012."
