Darren Fletcher focused on returning next season

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has written off any hopes of playing again this season, and instead is aiming to be back in action at the start of the next campaign.
Fletcher is currently sidelined for an indefinite period as he battles with a chronic bowel condition, which he is trying to manage in a manner that will allow him to continue his career.
"It's a week-by-week situation so I've not got any timescale on recovery, but the target for me is next season now," Fletcher told the Manchester Evening News.
"If I can come back then, that would be great for me. It's something that will never leave me but somehow you have to find a way to manage it so that I can still play my football. I'm trying everything under the sun at the moment: diet, hypnotherapy."
Fletcher appeared ten times for United this season before opting to take a break from the game.
