Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has dismissed reports that PSG could be set to swoop for Manchester City target Marek Hamsik this summer, insisting the playmaker is committed to the Partenopei's cause.

Hamsik, 24, has been a key player for Napoli since arriving from Brescia in 2007, and forms one prong of the club's impressive attacking triumvirate alongside Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The Slovakia star has also been linked with Chelsea and Milan, with big-spending PSG the latest side to be tipped to make a move. However, De Laurentiis said he expects Hamsik will respect his contract, which runs until 2016.

"Hamsik is an educated and polite person," De Laurentiis told Sky Sport Italia. "When he was 20 he seemed as if he was 30, he has a splendid family and has married our cause by signing a contract with us until 2016."
