Gervinho feels Arsenal will benefit from the way the players have battled through a season of turmoil at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners were left reeling at the end of last summer by the departures of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas and started the season in disappointing fashion.

There were calls for manager Arsene Wenger to go but the Frenchman has turned things around and the Gunners are now on course to secure a place in next season's Champions League.

Arsenal still have to finish the season off, but Gervinho believes things are looking extremely positive for the future.

"I think that we can cope with everything really," Gervinho told Arsenal Player. "We have had and have been through a lot of difficult times this season. Lots of people have waivered in their belief in us, have said this and that, but we have returned to form.

"We are a group of young lads, we get on really well, but we have got stronger during the tough times and showed the real Arsenal. We are going to try and finish the season well and we are happy with that.

"We are all still young, have got some good players and a good group. We can still win lots of trophies and do great things in the future because we are a good club."
