Liverpool still waiting on Adam diagnosis - Dalglish

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish claims reports that Charlie Adam is set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury are premature.
Adam missed the home defeat to Wigan last Saturday after suffering the injury against QPR three days earlier and fears have been mounting that he may be out for the rest of the season.
However, Dalglish insists the extent of the midfielder's problem is still unknown and remains hopeful the Scotland international will be back to boost Liverpool's run-in.
"Charlie will be analysed in a couple of weeks and we will know better then," Dalglish said. "So rather than be inaccurate or incorrect, somebody making up a story, in a couple of weeks we will be able to give you a more accurate assessment of the amount of time he is going to be out. We will just have to wait and see."
After three games in six days - league defeats to QPR and Wigan coming in quick succession after their FA Cup quarter-final victory over Stoke, Dalglish admitted the squad needed time to recuperate.
"We have got a very strong squad that has been stretched, but then there are a lot of other people in a similar position to us," he said. "We had three games in six days, that is gone now and the clear week that we have gives everybody a chance if they have got any bumps and bruises to get rid of them and it gives the boys who were injured another week a chance to get fit."
