Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes Chelsea have no reason to complain about the arrangements for the two clubs' FA Cup semi-final meeting this Sunday.

With the timing of the fixture giving the Blues just 72 hours to prepare for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, interim manager Roberto Di Matteo complained fiercely about the Football Association's decision - saying he was "angry and disappointed" by the "unhelpful" scheduling.

Redknapp, however, claims the Italian has little to feel aggrieved about - believing all managers are aware of how television drives the fixture list in the modern game, while noting that the Stamford Bridge club have the squad to rotate their team to cope with such challenges.

"I wouldn't think it would make a huge difference," Redknapp said, when asked about the impact of the scheduling. "You're still going to get a night's rest. It's a strange time but the TV decide now, it's all about the money.

"They'll have a go, they have got a strong squad so they can rotate. They will be strong whoever they play."
