Wilshere recovery running out of time

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given a pessimistic update on the fitness of midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Wilshere is coming towards the end of his recovery from ankle surgery that has kept him out of the entire season to date, with Wenger noting last week that the 20-year-old will need to show significant improvement this month if he is to appear for the Gunners before the end of the season - or go with England to the summer's European Championships.
When asked for an update on Wilshere's status on Friday, the Frenchman could not give good news.
"I will not take any risks with him," Wenger warned. "He is making slow progress so we still have to monitor the situation a little bit at the moment.
"As I told you last week, the next three weeks would be decisive and now we have two weeks in front of us. I cannot tell you more."
