Kakuta not giving up on Chelsea
Gael Kakuta claims he still has the backing of Chelsea and is keen to make his mark in the Premier League.
The midfielder arrived at Stamford Bridge with a huge reputation and put in some sparkling displays for the second string, but has been unable to bridge the gap to the first team.
He is currently on loan at French side Dijon, but does not feel that is an indicator that he is surplus to requirements at Chelsea.
"I want the chance to show what I can do with Chelsea in the Premier League," he said. "I think they would have allowed me to move permanently unless they had confidence.
"I'm happy with what I've done at Dijon but now I want to go back to Chelsea and show that my place is with them at the highest level."
