Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech believes his side will travel to Barcelona with hope rather than fear ahead of the second leg of their Champions League semi-final - because they always seem to do well at Camp Nou.

Chelsea will take a 1-0 lead into the game in Spain, after beating the reigning European champions in the first leg on Wednesday thanks to Didier Drogba's strike in first-half stoppage time.

Barcelona's attacking style, not to mention the manner they dominated proceedings at Stamford Bridge, has led many to expect Chelsea to face an onslaught in the second leg - but Cech believes Roberto Di Matteo's men have a very good chance of getting at least the draw they need to make the final.

"We've done well in the past there and need to reproduce the same kind of performance that we did and like we have before," Cech said. "It will be really important to score an away goal as well but we seem always to score there and, hopefully, we can replicate that."

He added: "This performance [in the first leg] was all about the focus and concentration, to stay disciplined all the time and not give them space, even though you could run for three minutes and not see the ball.

"We had to fight from the first to the last minute. We've done the maximum we could do against such a great side.

"We've had some good results against them in the past and used that experience again. We made it really tight, but will have to play the same way in the second leg."

Barcelona are yet to lose at their home ground this season, winning 27 of their 30 games to date.
