Denilson will return to Arsenal in summer

Denilson has confirmed he will return to Arsenal in the summer after a deal was not struck to extend his stay at Sao Paulo.
Both Denilson and Sao Paulo appeared keen to prolong his loan spell at the Brazilian club for another season, with the midfielder's future at Arsenal seemingly over.
However, it is reported the two clubs could not strike a new agreement, meaning Denilson is set to return to his parent club ahead of the 2012-13 campaign.
"I will remain at Sao Paulo until June 30 and then I will return to [Arsenal]," Denilson said. "I helped [Sao Paulo] this year with some good assists, established myself in the team and had some good games for them.
"I played regularly and I did not get sent off. I have been saying all along that I am still adapting to Brazilian football and the statistics show that was not an excuse.
"The amount of cards and fouls I have received have been significantly reduced."
He added: "I wish I could stay for six more months but that is Arsenal's decision as I am under contract with them. I will not be unhappy in London as I will be returning to one of the biggest clubs in the world."
