Andy Carroll is on track to spearhead Liverpool's attack in the FA Cup final after overcoming the "niggle" that kept him out of the weekend win over Norwich.

Carroll, whose goal against Everton earned the Reds a Wembley date with Chelsea on Saturday, was not even named on the bench for Saturday's 3-0 triumph at Carrow Road, in which Luis Suarez bagged a hat-trick.

He is set to feature against Fulham at Anfield on Tuesday, however, as Dalglish seeks to sharpen up his squad ahead of their bid to win a second major domestic trophy this season.

"He's training today [Monday]," Dalglish told Liverpoolfc.tv. "It was just a niggle. Players are either going to be rested or they are going to play to give them the best possible opportunity to be available for Saturday, and Andy comes into the category. The safest thing to do was rest him on Saturday."
