Ferguson still sees title hope

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson feels that Manchester City will try and pressurise the referee in their crunch match with QPR next weekend.
City's goal difference is so superior to United's that they are almost certain to pocket the Premier League title providing they beat the Hoops at the Etihad on the same day as the Red Devils travel to Sunderland.
United have been left to rue the defeat they suffered when they travelled to City on Monday, a game in which Ferguson was riled by the way manager Roberto Mancini dealt with the officials.
Ferguson feels QPR have a chance of provoking an upset, but has hinted the referee could find himself targeted by City staff.
"You have to think there's still hope," Ferguson told MUTV. "QPR have to go to City and survive. To stay up in the Premier League they need a point.
"Of course, City are favourites - there's no doubt about it. The crowd will be behind them, they'll be into the referee as they were against us. They'll be doing their best to win the game.
"QPR are fighting for their lives, though, and you have to think a team in that position has a chance. I just wish Sparky [former Reds striker and current Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes] was playing!"
