Chelsea to re-open Drogba talks after final

Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay has confirmed he hopes to come to an agreement in the summer with Didier Drogba over a new contract extension.
Drogba's current deal is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, with earlier negotiations between club and player faltering over the Ivorian's demands for a two-year contract, with the Blues reportedly only willing to offer the 34-year-old a one-year extension.
However, Drogba has underlined his importance to the club in recent weeks - helping them into the final of the Champions League, and also scoring in the final of the FA Cup - and Gourlay now hopes progress can be made on contract talks at the end of the season.
"We continue to discuss with Didier the situation," Gourlay told Sky Sports. "Didier loves this football club, we love Didier, and we'll continue to have the conversations.
"Didier and the rest of the team are completely focused on what we've got to achieve in the next week and, once that's finished, we'll sit down."
