Bolt: I am prepared for anything

Triple Olympic champion Usain Bolt believes he is ready for anything at London 2012, as he insists he will do everything he can to run the 100 metres in 9.4 seconds.

Bolt, 25, is preparing for this summer's Olympic Games in England - as he bids to defend the three titles he won in Beijing four years ago. Some critics have suggested that creating the required desire could be a problem for the Jamaican, but he insists he still has so much he still wants to achieve.

"You have to set a goal for yourself, and have the right people around you to push you when you are distracted," Bolt said. "I do have the right set of people around me and I train really hard and everything is going pretty well.

"I want to be a legend of the sport and that is the key, that keeps me focused.

He added: "I'm very happy where I'm at. I'm much more experienced and know what it takes to be a champion. I've been through it all - injury, being a champion, injury, back to being the best - so I have a lot of experience and am ready for anything the track or injury can throw at me."

Bolt holds the current world record for 100m, 9.58s, but reiterated his hope of running much faster than that in the near future.

"It would be wonderful feat to run 9.4 and I think people are looking forward to me running 9.4," he noted. "I train really hard and don't really think about times, but to run 9.4 would be a great feat so I am definitely going to push myself to do my best."
