Spain's Carlos Velasco Carballo will take charge of the Euro 2012 curtain raiser between Poland and Greece, while England's Howard Webb will be in control of the game between Russia and Czech Republic.

UEFA has confirmed the officiating teams for the first four games of this summer's tournament, with Velasco Carballo handed the honour of the first game at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

Webb will be at the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw where he will be assisted by Michael Mullarkey (assistant referee one), Peter Kirkup (assistant referee two), Martin Atkinson (assistant referee three), Mark Clattenburg (assistant referee four) and Manuel De Sousa (fourth official).

On Saturday, Damir Skomina of Slovakia will officiate Netherlands versus Denmark, while France's Stephane Lannoy will take charge of Germany against Portugal.
