Arsenal are weighing up an offer for Russia star Alan Dzagoev following his impressive start to Euro 2012, according to reports.

Dzagoev, 21, has scored three goals in two games at the tournament so far, with Russia having beaten Czech Republic and drawn with joint-hosts Poland.

Operating from a starting position on the right flank, he has attracted praise for his incisive running and composure in the final third.

The CSKA Moscow forward is out of contract in December, leading to speculation his performances at the Euros could earn him a high-profile move over the coming weeks.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is expected to try and sell another Russian, Andrey Arshavin, this summer after loaning him to Zenit St Petersburg during the most recent English season.

And Arshavin's potential departure would create a vacancy within the Gunners squad for Dzagoev, who reports suggest will cost in the region of £13 million.

Wenger is also on the brink of finalising a deal for in-demand Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud, according to several media sources.
