Tottenham Hotspur have announced that coaches Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan have left the club following Harry Redknapp's departure as manager.

Jordan followed Redknapp to Tottenham from Portsmouth in 2008, with Bond also moving to White Hart Lane in the same year.

"We can now formally confirm that Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan have left the club following Harry Redknapp's departure as manager,'' read a statement from Tottenham.

"We should like to thank them for their contribution and achievements during their time at the club and wish them all the best for the future."

Bond and Jordan were an integral part of Redknapp's backroom staff and oversaw the running of team affairs while he was recovering from heart surgery in November.

The move clears the path for Andre Villas-Boas to install his own coaching team when he arrives at White Hart Lane.

The former Chelsea boss has reportedly won the race to succeed Redknapp, despite failing to impress at Stamford Bridge, and is expected to be officially unveiled next week.

Former Blackburn and Tottenham midfielder Tim Sherwood is the only member of Redknapp's team to escape the cull.
