UEFA has confirmed the officials for Sunday's final

Iker Casillas wants the current crop of Spanish players to ensure they go down in history.

Spain are the world and European Champions and victory over Italy in Sunday's final of Euro 2012 will see them become the first side in history to win three major titles in a row.

Keeper Casillas can etch his own milestone as victory will see him become the first player to reach 100 wins for their country. It will be a stunning achievement for the keeper, who has 136 caps to his name, but he is focused on the collective and wants the team to be remembered forever.

"We are still making history," he said. "We hope people will remember us for the rest of their lives.

"Who would have believed that in four years we would be doing so many things for Spanish football."

Spain have not been as impressive as in recent tournaments, but Cesc Fabregas claims the players are still hungry for more glory.

"We've already made history with the two consecutive trophies we've won, but, of course, we want a little bit more and came here with that as our objective," the Barcelona midfielder said. "We'll give everything we have to win the tournament, not simply to make history. It's in our nature to try and win. Should be we be able to do so then we can celebrate with our friends and family. I know Spain is a football-obsessed country which is right behind us at the moment."
