Hulk: I have done nothing with Chelsea

Porto striker Hulk has clarified his position in relation to a possible move to Chelsea, insisting "nothing" is currently happening between he and the West London club.

Hulk has been linked to the European champions all summer as a replacement for Didier Drogba. Boasting a powerful frame allied to good feet and ample pace, Hulk is viewed as the ideal alternative to the recently-departed Drogba.

Reports have claimed the Brazilian is keen to move to Chelsea, with Hulk quoted as saying in June: "Chelsea are the current European champions and would please any player and I'm no exception. I'd be happy if the transfer happened."

More recently it has emerged that Porto are holding out for a €70 million fee for the 25-year-old, who will represent Brazil at the London 2012 Games.

However, Hulk insists it is not as simple as that. According to the striker, both Chelsea and fellow pursuers Paris St Germain have made no contact, and he will happily continue at Porto unless his agent tells him otherwise.

"I have done nothing with Chelsea or any other club," Hulk told Lancenet. "I have four more years on my contract with Porto and I'm focusing on the national team.

"I haven't talked to anyone. As everyone knows, I don't follow negotiations closely as that will make me lose my focus. I let my agent deal with that stuff."
