Capello 'very happy' with Terry verdict
Fabio Capello is said to be "very happy" former England skipper John Terry has been found not guilty of racially abusing QPR's Anton Ferdinand.
Capello resigned as England manager in February in protest over Terry's sacking as national team captain, claiming the Football Association "gravely offended me and damaged my authority".
Following Terry's acquittal at Westminster Magistrates Court on Friday, the Capello family expressed a feeling of vindication over the saga.
"We have just seen the news online and we are very happy," Capello's son and lawyer Pierfilippo told the Sun.
"My personal view, as a lawyer, is that the final answer to this matter came from where it was always supposed to come."
Meanwhile, Capello continues to be linked with a role with the Russian national team, with reports claiming the Italian could be unveiled as early as next week.
The speculation has been fuelled by Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko, who revealed discussions with the former England boss are ongoing.
