Manchester City's Carlos Tevez remains a transfer target for AC Milan this summer, according to the agent involved in negotiating the deal.

Tevez has been linked with a move to the Serie A for some time, with Milan's January bid for the striker collapsing at the last moment due to Alexandre Pato's sale to Paris Saint-Germain being cancelled. However, the deal is reportedly back on, following the expected exit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the San Siro to PSG.

Last week, Tevez poured cold water on transfer talk, claiming he is "settled" at City. But the agent at the heart of Milan's attempt to lure the Argentine to Italy last winter, Giuseppe Riso, says the time may now be right for the move to be concluded.

"Tevez to Milan would be a complicated negotiation, but certainly he remains one of [Milan chief executive Adriano] Galliani's dreams," Riso told Sky Sport Italia.

"Perhaps this is the right time for the move. I am leaving for Manchester, yes, but not for business relating to the future of this player. But, whilst on a trip you can achieve many things."

Tevez's future has been the subject of much speculation since he refused to warm-up during a Champions League clash at Bayern Munich last year, leading manager Roberto Mancini to claim he would not play for the club again.
