Roberto Di Matteo has suggested he is not involved in Chelsea's pursuit of Victor Moses, but has described the Wigan forward as an "interesting prospect".

Chelsea have been on Moses' trail for much of the summer and on Wednesday, Wigan chairman Dave Whelan confirmed he had rejected three bids from the Blues.

Whelan said he will listen to any offers that are made and with Chelsea in the market to strengthen their squad, another bid could be tabled.

Chelsea have already brought in Marko Marin and Eden Hazard, while reports suggest Oscar is on the brink of sealing a move to Stamford Bridge.

Moses would face stiff competition for a place at Chelsea, but Blues boss Di Matteo is an admirer.

"That is something the clubs discuss," Di Matteo said when asked about Chelsea's interest in Moses. "At the moment he is a Wigan player.

"He had a good season last season. He is a young, interesting prospect."
