Arsenal midfielder Theo Walcott insists he knows nothing of rumours linking him with an exit from Arsenal this summer, with talks over a new contract ongoing.

Walcott, 23, is currently on tour with Arsenal in Malaysia, which kicks off on Tuesday afternoon, and told reporters that he is not worried about his contractual situation.

The England winger's current deal at Emirates Stadium expires next summer, meaning he would be free to walk away for nothing if an extension cannot be agreed.

"[Contract talks were] always going to be held back until after the Euros and they continue to talk. We'll see where it goes," Walcott said on Sky Sports News.

"I didn't have a clue about [the speculation]. I'm just an honest guy and I like to get on with my job. I don't want distractions. Like I say my agent and the club will continue to talk and when there is something to know I will get involved."

Walcott was an important member of Arsenal's first-team in the 2011-12 season, scoring eight goals in 35 league appearances.
