Diaby primed for 'crucial time' at Arsenal

Abou Diaby claims he is over his injury torment and ready to show Arsenal his true worth.
The midfielder arrived at Arsenal back in 2006 and was billed as the man to fill the shoes of Patrick Vieira, but he has had a string of injuries that have prevented him from living up to the hype.
Diaby made just five appearances last term, but has come through a tough pre-season schedule without any alarm and is ready to press on in the new season.
"I'm fit now," Diaby said. "I have been training since the beginning of pre-season and also did a rehabilitation session during my holidays - so now I feel great.
"That is definitely important. I need to be fit to complete this season. So this is a crucial time."
Diaby is part of the Arsenal squad that is currently in China on a pre-season tour.
