Chelsea fall to AC Milan defeat

Chelsea came up short in their glamour friendly with AC Milan, losing 1-0 in Miami.
Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo fielded a strong side, with the likes of Petr Cech, John Terry, Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard all handed starts.
Terry played the entire 90 minutes and had Chelsea's best chance, early in the first half, but he slipped when seemingly poised to fire home Branislav Ivanovic's knock back of a Lampard cross.
Milan gradually came into the game and after Urby Emanuelson had been denied by Cech, the same player opened the scoring mid-way through the second half when firing home a rebound after Cech had thwarted Stephan El Shaarawy.
Romelu Lukaku started the game, but was replaced by Fernando Torres who completed his first 30 minutes of pre-season.
The game was the final leg of Chelsea's tour and they will now head back to England, with Di Matteo pleased with the trip.
"The squad is not together yet and it is just pre-season so you have the opportunity to try different solutions and options to see how that works," Di Matteo said. "It has given me a good opportunity to have a look at some of our players and see what role they can play immediately or in the near future.
"Now we have two weeks and we are in a good position because we haven't had any injuries. We have players who have played 90 minutes, and every day the new players play with the squad they will learn about each other a bit more."
