Internacional president Giovanni Luigi says Tottenham must meet the €60 million buyout clause in Leandro Damiao's contract in order to snare the striker.

Damiao, who will compete for Brazil in the London 2012 Olympics gold medal match against Mexico on Saturday, has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.

However, despite expecting offers to flow in following his showing at the Games, Internacional claim they are in no rush to sell the 22-year-old.

"I think it's very hard for the transfer to happen unless Tottenham pay the €60 million (£47m) buyout fee that is included in his contract," Luigi told O Jogo.

"Leandro Damiao has four more years on his contract. He is a very well paid player and has nothing to complain about. And we don't need to sell. We are a rich club with an enviable structure."

Meanwhile, vice-president Luciano Davi has confirmed Spurs are yet to place a formal bid for Damiao this summer.

"Right now Leandro Damiao is the only player that worries us but we have received no official offers for him," Davi told Lancenet.
