Liverpool bring in Assaidi

Liverpool have announced the signing of Heerenveen winger Oussama Assaidi, subject to a medical.
The 24-year-old Morocco international will undergo a medical at the Reds' Melwood training facility before finalising the transfer, as Brendan Rodgers adds to his options at the club.
The Morocco international had been linked with a move to Fulham earlier this summer, only for the Reds to swoop for his services as Rodgers prepares for his debut season at the helm. He was also believed to be in talks with Ajax before the Premier League side came callin.
The Northern Irishman has already signed Joe Allen and Fabio Borini, while it is reported that he is closing in on the capture of Real Madrid's Nuri Sahin on a season-long loan.
Assaidi scored 20 goals in 68 league appearances for Heerenveen during his time with the Dutch club, and has appeared 22 times at international level.
