Carvalho heading to QPR on loan

Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho could be set to join Queens Park Rangers on loan, according to reports.
Carvalho, 34, has been linked with a move away from Madrid this summer after manager Jose Mourinho confirmed he was happy for the centre-back to leave the club.
Mourinho said last weekend: "With him there are no problems or doubts. We have made that decision because I have known him since he was a child and he was not born to be a substitute. He is too good and with too much self-worth to be a substitute.
"The best solution for the end of his career is to find a club in an important league and that we try to find a club in an important league and we are trying to find a good solution for him and for us.
"If we reach the end of August and there is no conclusion he will be our player and we will be delighted with that."
And reports on Wednesday have suggested Carvalho, who signed for Madrid from Chelsea in 2010, is poised to join QPR on a temporary basis.
Mark Hughes' QPR began the 2012-13 Premier League campaign with a 5-0 loss against Swansea and have since been linked with Carvalho and also Tottenham defender Michael Dawson.
