Tottenham told to forget about Damiao

Internacional have told Tottenham they have no intention of selling Leandro Damiao.

Andre Villas-Boas has a £30 million transfer kitty to spend by Friday following the sale of Luka Modric to Real Madrid.

Willian, Hugo Lloris and Yann M'Vila have all emerged as targets for Tottenham, who have already had a bid rejected for Damiao, but Internacional vice-president Luciano Davi insists the Brazil striker is not for sale at any price.

"Our intention is that Leandro Damiao doesn't leave this year," Davi told Globo Esporte. "He is an Internacional player until December. Their offer wasn't relevant and we are not interested in selling him.

"Tottenham came to us but their offer didn't match our valuation of him. Leandro Damiao is a national team striker and we have to value that."
