Tottenham Hotspur have signed Clint Dempsey from Fulham for £6 million on a three-year contract.
Spurs made a late swoop for Dempsey on Friday, with the USA international having been expected to sign for Liverpool throughout the summer. He follows Moussa Dembele in leaving Fulham for Spurs this week.
Dempsey, who had declared himself unavailable to play for Fulham this season, had turned down a move to Aston Villa earlier on Friday.
He has now penned a three-year deal with Spurs, with the transfer fee reported to be in the region of £6 million.
