Eden Hazard insists Chelsea are ready to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid in Monaco on Friday night.

Hazard, 21, has impressed since joining the Blues from Lille this summer but suffered a heavy defeat in the UEFA Super Cup last week. The Belgium international believes the loss will strengthen Chelsea's resolve as the current campaign wears on.

"Perhaps it will make us work even harder when we all return to training," Hazard said. "Perhaps the change of environment will do us good and we will all come back stronger. We just need to forget about it and move on.

"From a personal standpoint, it certainly won't get me down. I'm a pretty natural guy and just take one game at a time. I'm already looking ahead to the next adventure."

Hazard admits it will be tough to maintain his remarkable start to life in the Premier League, but says he is loving life at Stamford Bridge.

"Everything's going really well for me," he said. "I've been well received by everyone.

"It's no surprise for me really that I've settled in so well because when you play with better players, it's easier to adapt. It won't be easy to keep up that level in every game, I know that, but I always knew what I was capable of."
