Aldo suffers minor injuries in motorbike accident

Jose Aldo insists he will be fit to fight Frankie Edgar at UFC 153 next month after he was involved in a motorcycle accident in Brazil.
The UFC featherweight champion emerged with a few minor injuries after his bike reportedly hit a car in the Copacabana area of Rio de Janeiro on September 1.
"I suffered a fall, but it was nothing more," Aldo told esporte.uol.com. "There is no problem."
His trainer Andre Pederneiras, confirmed that Aldo suffered no major injuries.
"The only concern is the swollen foot, but there was no fracture," Pederneiras told tatame.com.
"He is going to rest this week and get back to training next week. He also has some scratches on his knee, leg and butt, but we believe there won't be a problem."
