Sneijder commits future to Inter

Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has insisted he has no intention of leaving the club before his contract expires in 2015.

Sneijder, 28, has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Paris St-Germain and Real Madrid on and off for a number of seasons, ever since playing an integral role in Inter's memorable Champions League-winning campaign of 2009-10.

No move has ever materialised, however, and the Netherlands international now insists he is keen to stay with the Serie A club for the long-term.

"I want to stay at Inter," Sneijder told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I have never, never thought about leaving Inter. I like the team, the city, the club, and I also like the coach."

Sneijder has not yet decided what he will do when his contract expires with the Nerazzurri, admitting that a return to former club Ajax remains a possibility.

"Never say never, but now it's too soon to think about [returning to the Amsterdam club]," he said. "I have a deal with Inter until 2015 and I want, as a minimum, to remain until the end of the contract."

Sneijder also revealed he is enjoying working under Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni.

"He understands players, like president [Massimo] Moratti," said Sneijder. "Stramaccioni talks a lot with me, about everything.

"This lets me feel his faith and this is good for each player."
