City yet to strike Jovetic agreement
Fiorentina insist there is no agreement in place for Stevan Jovetic to move to Manchester City in the future.
City were linked with Jovetic, 22, throughout the summer transfer window - but he stayed with the Serie A club. Jovetic has subsequently revealed he turned down the chance to join City.
Now Fiorentina's sporting director Daniele Prade has come out to confirm no deal has been stuck between the clubs for a transfer.
"Jovetic's buy-out clause? I want to close this issue once and for all," he told La Nazione. "What we will do, will be done in a transparent way. So when there will be news about Jovetic's contract, we will notify it in an official manner.
"A pre-arrangement with Manchester City? The Della Valle family [Fiorentina owners] has excellent relations with City but there is no preliminary contracts with anyone. Jo-Jo is our player and he will be at least until the end of the season."
Jovetic scored 14 times last season for Fiorentina.
