Hugo Lloris said his Tottenham debut in the Europa League game against Lazio had been "peaceful", but voiced his frustration that Spurs had failed to win.

Lloris, 25, kept a clean sheet as Andre Villas-Boas' side were held to a 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane, having three goals disallowed.

The France captain, who was kept out of the team by 41-year-old Brad Friedel for the recent 3-1 win over Reading, said: "It was my first match for Tottenham.

"It's good to not concede any goals, but we wanted to win. We deserved to win but there were questionable refereeing decisions. I had a peaceful evening, but it's never easy. I had to stay focused all the time - anything could be dangerous for me.

"That game allowed me to play a little in this adaptation period [to life at Tottenham], to know this stadium and to be with my new team-mates. That was very different to training. On the whole, it was positive."
