Ferguson prepared to wait on Evans

Manchester United defender Jonny Evans will be given until Sunday to prove his fitness ahead of the club's Premier League clash with Newcastle United, after picking up a knock in his side's Champions League win over CFR Cluj on Tuesday.
Evans was injured during United's 2-1 loss to Tottenham at the weekend, but managed to recover in time to travel to Romania.
But the defender was substituted in the 79th minute after complaining of a dead leg, although manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes Evans has enough time to recover for the trip to Newcastle.
"Jonny got injured on Saturday and he had a recurrence of that. It is a dead leg," Ferguson said. "He has five days to recover for Sunday. Hopefully he will be okay."
