On a day that saw Chelsea strengthen their grip on top spot and Manchester City cruise past Sunderland, we round up the best and worst of the Premier League action...

Guest Garcia
Sergio Garcia, one of the stars of Europe's victorious Ryder Cup team, was at the Liberty Stadium posing with Swansea winger Pablo Hernandez (whose girlfriend is Garcia's sister) for some pre-match pictures. Garcia was the special guest at the blockbuster Swansea v Reading clash - surely an honour that surpasses his Medinah achievements.

Avoiding Hazards
Eden Hazard's elusive style might make him a target for less refined defenders, but the Belgian, who started for Chelsea against Norwich, has now played in 112 consecutive league games since October 2009. Good job he didn't join Arsenal - notoriously brittle duo Tomas Rosicky and Abou Diaby would never have stood for it.

Scot much to learn
Everton boss David Moyes has been touted as a possible replacement for Sir Alex Ferguson - and it was easy to see why against Wigan: showing the sort of grumpiness Ferguson would be proud of, he rowed with a ballboy for not returning the ball directly to a Toffees player when it ran out of play.

Giroud the great
Olivier Giroud has come in for some flak since joining Arsenal over the summer, but he has taken one game fewer than Thierry Henry did to score a first Premier League goal. That being so, we can't see any reason why he isn't destined to become the Gunners' record goalscorer.
