Nemanja Vidic will not be making a move to Juventus, with the defender's agent quashing rumours that he could move to the Italian giants in the January transfer window.

Vidic was ruled out of action for eight weeks after having a knee operation last month, adding to the woe of missing the majority of last season with a similar injury.

Reports have suggested the 30-year-old is a target for Juventus and Barcelona, but Vidic's Italian agent Silvano Martina insists he has not spoken with either club.

"Vidic is not playing at this time because he's had surgery, so he's only thinking about his recovery and not about the transfer market," Martina told itasportpress.it.

"Juventus are complete with their non-EU players for this season and it is highly unlikely they will make a bid for Vidic, therefore I can categorically rule out any interest from them.

"Vidic is already part of a top club and there are no negotiations with Juventus or Barcelona."
